From 64 West take exit 190 onto North 5th street Coliseum/Downtown. Go over I-95 and go one block to Jackson Street. Turn Right on Jackson Street and go 2 blocks. Turn Right on N 3rd Street and follow it as it curves and merges with 4th Street. Cross back under I-95. At the first light, Hospital Street, turn left. As you turn left, Hebrew Cemetery will be on your right. Travel halfway down the block and turn left into the small entrance across from the former city almhouse. You made it!

From I64/I95 East/South take Exit 75 and keep right immediately onto N 3rd Street Coliseum/Downtown. Take 3rd Street to Jackson Street (the first intersection), and turn left. Go one block and turn left onto N 4th Street. Cross back under I-95. At the first light, Hospital Street, turn left. As you turn left, Hebrew Cemetery will be on your right. Travel halfway down the block and turn left into the small entrance across from the former city almhouse. You are in Shockoe Hill Cemetery!

From 95 North take Exit 75 for I-64 East/N 7th Street. Bear right and take the exit onto North 7th Street. Take N 7th to the bottom of the hill where it intersects the railroad, and turn left onto Hospital Street. The intersection is a little ambiguous and Hospital St is hard to see. Continue on Hospital St across 5th Street at the top of the hill. Hebrew Cemetery will be on your right. Travel halfway down the block and turn left into the small entrance across from the former city almhouse. You are in Shockoe Hill Cemetery!

From downtown Richmond, take 7th or 9th Street north and turn left onto Broad Street. Watch out for GRTC busses. Turn right on north 3rd Street, where you will see a brown sign directing you toward the cemetery. Cross back under I-95. At the first light, Hospital Street, turn left. As you turn left, Hebrew Cemetery will be on your right. Travel halfway down the block and turn left into the small entrance across from the former city almhouse. You are in Shockoe Hill Cemetery!
